Rod B. Vera
Mr. Vera is a pioneer in the field of plasma waste gasification applications, and the inventor of the PWR plasma gasification process. In addition to plasma experience, his background in engineering, marketing and installing municipal solid waste handling systems uniquely qualifies him for the multidisciplinary tasks required for establishing the PWR system as the industry leader. In authoring a study for the Department of Defense addressing the plasma industry, Rod, through his background research became one of the world’s foremost experts on the application of plasma energy for gasification of Municipal Solid Waste.
Alex P. Rutberg
Mr. Rutberg is an expert in the design, assembly and testing of plasmatrons for solid and liquid waste gasification and metal recovery. He is a co-inventor of “Multi-phase Alternating Current Plasma Generator” (U.S. patent No. 7,135,653) and a co-inventor of “Water Decontamination Apparatus and Method” (U.S. patent No. 7,374,693) and has filed for a U.S. patent on “AC High-Voltage Multi-Phase Plasma Generator with Annular Hollow Electrodes. He has six technical papers to his credit, including coauthoring “Some Aspects of Development and Creation of Plasma Technology for Solid Waste Gasification,” presented at the HTTP9 High Technology Plasma Processes Symposium (May27-June 4, 2006) in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Louis Joseph Circeo, Jr.
At APAT, a member company of the Georgia Tech Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC). Responsible for the technology transfer and commercialization of plasma gasification and vitrification technology in waste-to-energy applications. This includes the development of technically feasible and cost-effective concepts to make plasma gasification economically attractive for industrial commercialization. APAT also acts as a client’s technical representative throughout the design, construction, operation and maintenance phases of development of plasma waste to energy projects.
At GTRI, Director of Plasma Research. Areas of research were directed toward the development of engineering and environmental applications of plasma arc technology for energy production/conservation and the treatment and remediation of municipal and hazardous/toxic wastes. Other research interests include the in situ plasma stabilization of geologic materials for ground improvement, and the in situ plasma processing of contaminated soils, municipal landfills, and buried hazardous/toxic waste deposits for remediation and energy recovery.
Larry K. Morey
He was the first person in Georgia to build a live, work, play development that has now become Georgia’s smart growth initiative. While real estate has been slow, they have also developed a nationally recognized Montessori lower school and have developed the first American Creative Environment E-STEAMM High School in America. Enclosed is a picture of US Senator Johnny Isakson attending our school. He has already been approved to open a charter school in North Augusta, South Carolina. In closing, I may add, that I have articles to prove that this is not only the number one job creation area in the US, but also has the opportunity to be the largest in the future.
Dorsey “Gary” Madden
D. Gary Madden’s career has included directing efforts to develop effective, environmentally conscious, energy projects and equipment for more than a quarter of a century. Included in these are practical on-demand renewable energy sources, hi-yield indoor agriculture projects, coal-combustion by-product enhancement and remediation and producing efficient, environmentally compatible coal-burning electric utility operations equipment.
He has managed marketing efforts on an international scale in diverse areas of commerce and led multi-discipline teams in product development and gaining accreditation and obtaining patent rights for equipment and processes in the energy, environmental and energy by-product arenas. Mr. Madden has served as the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director for a utility equipment producer for the past decade.
